Vonda Robinson's PledgePage

Thanks for visiting my page. On November 1, 2003, I'm participating in the White Rock Half Marathon. The marathon is 13.1 miles. I'm participating in honor of four children with Leukemia - Ethan Bartholomew, Janelle Tole, Brady Frankum, and Michael Salvatore.

What you should know about Team in Training

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In
Training® is the world's largest endurance sports training program,
allowing each athlete to run, walk or ride in honor of a specific patient with a
blood cancer. Funds donated to the society go towards research, patient
services, advocacy, and education.

Why is this cause important

  • 60,300 people will die from leukemia this year in
    the United States

  • In children under age 15, leukemia causes more
deaths in the United States than any other disease

  • An estimated 640,000 Americans are living with
leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma
